Oh, thanks. I haven't had sushi not from a 7-11 in ages. Sweats? Or I have gym shorts....

Akira pulls out a slightly older pair of sweats that might fight him better than a newer pair. They're Featherman themed with "HERO" in English on the leg. The shirt's just a plan grey one.

He's such a brat.]

goro actually smiles and he takes the clothes rather happily. ]

[ you know after he showers down at the bathhouse and kind decompresses. And by that he means control his radically beating heart. ]

Okay--oh, what ramen do you like?

Shio.

[ Listen Akira today has been a lot to process and a cold shower is on his radar. Super cold. ]

I trust your judgment otherwise.

Got it.

[He waves Goro off to shower and bathe before digging up the number of that ramen stand that delivers and orders shio for Goro and whatever the local special is for himself. He'll eat anything once, after all, so.]

[ no wonder he's so good at peculiar challenges. anyway, he makes sure to place an order for some quality sushi on his walk over to the showers.

he doesn't take long and returns to Leblanc adorned in Akira's oh-so trendy clothing. he doesn't really look like a detective prince right now but he seems rather content nonetheless. tired but happy. ]

[Akira's in his seat at the bar when Goro returns, bag at his feet, and he just takes a minute to admire how cute he looks in civvies like that.

And how good he looks in Akira's old clothes.]

Ramen should be here soon--I ordered your shio and chef's specialty for me. Don't eat it all before I get back!

[Akira grabs his bag and heads off for the baths. So cute...]

[ goro nods and just gets comfortable in one of the booths, opting for finding his bag so he can break out the latest mystery novel and catch up.

because around Akira was already a lot more dangerous than he had anticipated - he felt too normal. ]

[Normal is a good thing, Goro!

Akira returns just minutes before the food arrives, holding two bottles of soda from the vending machine outside the bathhouse. He looks a bit like a drowned cat with his hair still so wet, but he feels so much better after a bath]

Honey, I'm home.

[ AKIRA WHY.

he looks so adorable and he can't help the way his chest clenches at seeing him like that. ]

Welcome back.

[ his gaze may linger just a second too long. ]

[Because Akira, that's why.

He smiles and slides into the seat across from Goro, tilting his head to see what book he's reading]

Ooh, that's a new one. Any good?

So far. I'll let you know how predictable the twist is.

[ he bookmarks the page and then glances again at Akira's hair. ]

.... so it's not always curly.

Only when it's wet. I didn't have time to dry it off if I wanted to get here in time to pay for the ramen. I'll need to comb it soon or I'm going to look like a puffball.

[ ah. he sees. that's... ]

I've never really had to comb mine. Is it difficult?

[ that's definitely not a roundabout way to ask if he can comb it-- ]

Lucky jerk. Want to try combing mine?

[Akira digs out his comb and offers it to Goro.]

[ hahahahahh.

before he can even stop himself he takes the comb lazily between his fingers. ]

I don't see why not. You'll have to sit closer, though.

[Akira gets up to move just as the food arrives, so that comes first. Once he has the food all set out on the table, he slides into the seat next to Goro]

We can eat first. Ramen's no good cold.

Fair enough.

[ he's kind of ravenous! and the sushi doesn't take long to get here either. being a tv personality gives you a lot of expendable cash!! ]

[And Akira just shakes his head at the wad of yen Goro hands the delivery guy.]

On the one hand, I'm jealous. On the other, TV doesn't look very fun.

It's stressful, yes.

[ he easily settles back in comfortably close next to akira. clearly they aren't sitting across from one another anymore. that's lame !!! ]

But money. So much money.

[Akira wastes no time in reaching in front of Goro and stealing a maki roll]

I'd kill for that much money.

[jurisdick]

Really? It's not really all that great.

[ he shrugs and he innocently picks up a piece and lets it linger in front of akira's face. ]

I suppose it's good that I'm here, though.
