[ a pause and he reaches up to play with one of akira's curls. ]

My feelings for you are as strong as ever.

Well, that's a relief.

[He teases, but he leans into that touch all the same.]

I'd hate to be the one carrying a flame for god knows how long.

[ an airy laugh. ]

Let's just say I haven't stopped thinking about you since I last saw you.

[He leans in for a quick kiss.]

Sojiro's banning me from the cafe for the next two days, by the way.

[ not that he's very happy about greedily getting akira to himself. ]

Really? He said that? I didn't think he'd be so crude.

[ it's -- a huge relief. and even better now that he can focus entirely on his feelings for akira and not feel so damn conflicted. ]

No need to thank me. I told you we'd do it, and I wasn't going to break that promise.

[ he isn't sure what to say to that, and instead opts to tilt his head and pepper gentle kisses along akira's jaw. ]

[Akira just chuckles and lets him, holding Goro close and letting relief just wash over him. Everyone's okay.]

and then he starts making work at a lovely, nice new bruise on akira's neck. sorry not sorry. ]

[Akira gasps out a moan and leans against the nearest wall a little when Goro starts doing that. Wow.]

That's going to be hard to hide...

There's no need to anymore.

[ he doesn't need to hide from shido and shido's men that he's involved with the thieves anymore. he doesn't need to carefully play his cards in order to orchestrate that change of heart. he can just...focus on this. he licks the lightly bruising spot after. ]

Oh, I see. It's no problem if Morgana gives me hell for having a mouthy boyfriend...

[He knows why Goro was so careful before and why Akira couldn't leave marks. He just also has to be a brat sometimes.]

He also tells you to sleep when I'm texting you.

[ which is hella rude. so hella rude.... he moves down along his neck to his shoulder. ]
