[ ... he's going to clean up in the meantime. and not pace back and forth in his hallway, restlessly messing with his hair. was that it? were they dating now? had he really just decided to allow akira to help him enact his revenge? had all that just really happened.

he ignores the buzzing of his phone, already knowing it's a text from shido, already knowing it's about a meeting tomorrow night. he doesn't check and instead he goes about splashing cold water in his face. once, twice, three times, knuckles turning white against the edge of the sink.

keep it together. he's always been able to keep it together before this. ]

[It takes Akira a little while but soon he's back at the apartments. Goro's door apparently self locks, so he has to knock and hope Goro meant everything that happened in the hallway.

He really hopes he did.]

[ he answers the door quickly enough. thankfully, he had worked his nerves out with cold water so he's feeling a bit better and a lot less pale. he can do this - whatever this is. ]

Sorry, wasn't sure if you'd like regular or fancy cheesecake.

[He holds up the bag. The condoms are safely tucked in Akira's schoolbag, which he also took with him.]

[ he's amused by it. it's kind of cute. he politely takes the bag and brings it back to the kitchen to grab some plates and forks. ]

Hey, the only reason I didn't get the wine to go with it is I don't think they'd sell it to me.

[He sets his schoolbag down and follows after Goro, smiling.]

[ that i'm a liar? he thinks, blandly, to himself as he takes a set at the counter, setting the plates down gently and placing the cheesecake on them accordingly. forks are now set, too, and he wonders how long he can savor this moment. ]

[And because this is Goro, Akira nods his head towards his boyfriend(?)'s crotch.]

[ ...... oh my god. he blinks and then makes a laugh, one that isn't fake and sounds almost like a snort. ]

I suppose you'll have to find out.

[Akira grins]

[ sorry he's going to eat his cheesecake now. ]

I'm asking you.

[He gets a slice and joins him, leaning close.]

Are you teasing?

That's hardly a fair question to ask over dessert.

[ he takes a bite of his cheesecake, deliberately letting his lips linger on the fork, eyes peering at akira warmly. ]
