( ramuda was a combination of terribly brilliant and terribly terrible ideas. a sterling example of such was how ramuda easily squirreled information for future use - for his own devices and advantage - and seemed to know just what buttons to push or threaten to. and an example of the latter, well, came in the form of a proposition on a rainy sunday afternoon.

gentaro had been working on a turn of his latest novel, the deadline ever encroaching closer, when his phone relentlessly buzzed. only ramuda rapidly texted him a single line at a time. everyone else seemed to respect social norms and compiled everything into one legible text.
