dickleo [ it was probably reckless.
it was probably reckless and stupid and completely unheard of. they had nice homes, nice lives in elysia, so why rock the boat? why leave? why, indeed. the answer was simple: adventure. ever since sorey has come to live with them, ever since mikleo had decided this strange and quirky boy was his best friend, adventure had become an integral part of their friendship.
ruins. adventurers of the past. they wanted to see it all.
the ruins nearby were getting stale and it was about time to move on, see the world, embrace it. leave that sheltered life and see what the world had in store for them both. who wouldn’t want to travel along their best friend? and besides, sorey needed a babysitter. he was painfully naive and too big-hearted - mikleo would need to ensure that no one would take advantage of him. ]
I heard LadyLake is probably the closest to us. We can start there and do some investigative work.
[ mikleo is fiddling with the strap of his leather bag slung over his shoulder that has multiple supplies, both of the medicinal and the food variety. the journey may take longer than a day, so why not be prepared? ... that and mikleo tended to worry too much. but it’s fine. ]
