when: season 2 (after rescuing jesse)
[ He's been in a better mood since they've rescued Jesse. He isn't as rude, isn't as prone to hissy-fits. That's not to say he isn't still arrogant and overprotective of his personal space. He's still as prickly but he's opening up to the team, trying his best to actually get to know them instead of slinging back-handed compliments all the time.
It's amazing how interesting they are: Snow, while a pretty and innocent face at first blush, is exceptionally talented and complex and has a lifetime of grief she keeps close to her heart; Allen, while a dimwit at times, has the biggest heart and sense of justice he's ever seen; Iris has a passion for her job that can't be quenched; Joe has the ability to warm up to just about anyone and no one is more important than his family; Wally is on his watch-list because he keeps flirting with Jesse; and ... and then there's god damn Cisco Ramon. That jackwagon of an intellect.
He's up late right now, trying to work through an equation that's had him stuck for five hours. He can't get it to balance, to work properly, and he needs it for the invention he's been tinkering with. Jesse went to bed hours ago and the rest of Team Flash called it an early night since things were rarely calm - a lull - that night. So he tried to catch up on his pet project.
He's filled up the whiteboard and can't find a scrap of paper. He just needs to derive this one equation and then he can plug it back into the bigger picture....
Harry makes a move to rip the back of his marker off with his teeth. The cap goes flying with a gentle pop and clatters on the floor. He then begins scribbling like a mad man on his arm, integral after integral. It looks like chicken-scratch but at least he can decipher it and that's all that matters. ]
