sonore [ So he's done a good job at least he thought so not letting Joshua on to the fact that his birthday is fast approaching. It was hard, given how often Shiki tended to show up when he was with Joshua (and sometimes she didn't even know he was there because of funny plane dynamics and Neku's lingering ability to see part of the UG from time to time). However, he was almost convinced he had dodged an awkward bullet. He wasn't entirely sure Joshua even celebrated birthdays, being dead and whatnot, and having the other feel compelled to be 'nice to him' because it was 'his birthday' sounded sickening and gave him a headache. Joshua being anything but frustrating just wasn't normal.
Still, though, he was a bit more on guard than usual that day. Even though it was kinda sweet it was his sixteenth birthday and all... Well, he'd celebrate later on in the day. Yep. He'll just down some coffee at Wildkat until then reading a book for class. ]
